Smith Johnson Tech was founded in 1993 by Dennis Johnson.  He held numerous IT positions with the Albertson’s Corporation for 18 years and then worked as an independent consultant/contractor for over six years. It didn’t take Dennis long to realize that not all contracting companies were the same. That experience gave him a unique perspective as he started the Smith Johnson Tech.

Smith Johnson focuses mainly on the Information Technology industry and our staffing services includes contracting, contract-to-hire and direct hire services. We believe Smith Johnson is only as good as the professionals we present to our clients. To attract the best talent, we offer a generous benefit package to all of our contractors. Our goal at Smith Johnson is to be the best. Our clients receive personalized attention and guidance. We take the time to thoroughly interview each candidate in order to better understand their career goals. The interview process also allows recruiters to assess their behavior, technical ability, leadership traits and motivation as well as cultural fit. We never submit a candidate without talking with them and getting their permission first.
